Poemetry by T.A. Barnhart

the unhappiness
the anger
as life does not
follow my desires,
and i realize
i’ve forgotten
let go of
the simplest of truths
the beginning of wisdom.
i stop myself
before the blame
gets a toehold;
i remember now.
good enough.
and breathe freely
with a small smile.
good enough.
